Course Details:

• • Platform: Classes will be held on Zoom.
  • Recordings: Each session will be recorded and shared with students if they miss any class. Access to the recordings will be available only until the end of the workshop.
  • Instructor: The classes will be led by ARTIST Raghavendra B B along with Amulya Raghavendra (daughter of artist Raghavendra B B
  • Language Support: Since the artist speaks Kannada, Amulya will provide assistance and communicate in English throughout the workshop.
  • Session Focus: The sessions will focus on observation and showcasing techniques, rather than being fully interactive.
  • Learning Approach: Consistent practice is essential for mastering the painting techniques of artist Raghavendra B B. We do not encourage tracing the entire painting. Instead, the focus will be on teaching techniques that will enable you to create a painting on your own by the end of the workshop.

• Basic sketching of the deity.
• Pencil sketching of arches, postures, Peeta and jewelry details
• Line drawing and coloring of deity, waterbodies, greenery and other elements
• Gesso preparation and various techniques of artist’s gesso work
• Gold leaf cutting, application, and rendering
• Final coloring of the background and face

• Painting board in which the cartridge paper is already pasted. (ready board)
• Gesso powder/paste
• Pure 24kt Gold leaves
• Painting brush

• The fee for the workshop is a one-time payment. Please note that this covers all materials.

• Rotrink pen with ink
• Mortle and Pestle
• Baby sock, artist watercolors and poster colors (links will be provided once you register for the course)
